Restylane and Perlane are tissue fillers designed to treat moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles and replenish the skin's collagen layer. With Perlane and Restylane treatment, Dr. Barton can smooth out wrinkles, sculpt lips, and shape facial contours.
Both Restylane and Perlane are clear gels composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. Hyaluronic acid carries no risk of allergic reaction. The most common areas for treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth), marionette lines (from the corner of the mouth to the side of the chin), and the lips. With a unique ability to bind with water, Restylane and Perlane remain healthfully in the skin for many months.
